Yes I am back but not with a vengeance, just a message.   The only way the dishonesty and corruption will be cleaned up in the fundamentalist groups is from inside, not outside.

There was no evidence that any of Virginia’s money was ill-gotten.  How she earned her money was more honorable than the way AUB has obtained their money.  Besides, as the Utah Supreme Court pointed out, how she accumulated the 1.54 million dollars does not mitigate the culpability of AUB.

I agree that truth and justice do not always happen in the courtroom.  But enough truth in Virginia’s case was evident enough for her to surface as a winner.

I have never had a discussion with either Virginia or her attorney about receiving a percentage for my services.  Nor has Rod to my knowledge.

As for me, I lost respect for AUB when it claimed to be infallible. The leadership did not intervene in cases where women and children were abused.  I thought it disgraceful when tithing money was manipulated so as to enrich certain priesthood leaders.  I joined forces with Virginia because I felt AUB needed to be held accountable; and I must admit, I couldn’t resist the challenge.

There was not the dishonesty and self righteousness under Rulon Allred as there was after AUB decided it held all the priesthood keys. And I do not point all the blame at Owen.  I have it from a reliable source that Owen wanted to negotiate a settlement with Virginia thus avoiding the mess AUB is now in, but the council voted him down. Why????

I know there are many honest and virtuous members in AUB who have a huge investment in AUB.  They do not deserve the corrupt image the council has portrayed.
