Political Correctness Carried Toooo Far!

            Me and an old high school buddy, Dick Foreman, now a Texan, decided that at our age, a year or two of entering our eighties, we had earned the right to rant when observing an event or something we do not agree with – LIKE SOCIALISM AND OBAMACARE.  We, and others like us, are survivors who had the privilege of serving our country during the Korean War.  Our values were hardwired in the early fifties as we cheerfully and unashamedly went through that important transformation from teenage to adulthood.  We have retained many  values of the fifties, which will give you an idea where I am coming from.  Therefore, with that brief preface I will now express my opinion regarding today’s stupid, super sensitivity brought on by the “political correctness tyrants.”

                The other day I read in the Salt Lake Tribune that a Southwest Airlines pilot had been suspended and compelled to attend diversity, sensitivity training because of personal, private opinions.  It seems that while talking with his copilot just before takeoff he expressed his opinion about homosexuals, what he thought were over-the-hill flight attendants and obesity, none of which was flattering.  What he didn’t realize is that the intercom mike was open and the crew and passengers heard every word.

                If I had been a passenger I would have been pleasantly amused and in all probability agreed with the pilot.  But apparently there were burning, sensitive ears that complained.

                The pilot should have been reprimanded for not making sure his mike was off before entering into a private, somewhat controversial conversation.  But to force him to attend diversity, sensitivity instructions I think is carrying political correctness way tooooo far.

                Now I don’t know what the diversity school consisted of but I can imagine, and I will use homosexuality as an example.  The objective of the training, I suspect, was to inculcate a positive, sympathetic  assessment towards homosexuality; in other words, to change the pilot’s thinking by portraying a positive image of homosexuality.

                It’s not hard to imagine what the instructors of that diversity school attempted to drum into the head of the pilot – that homosexuality is a natural, alternative form of sexual orientation.  To accept that premise when the biological facts disagree is in my opinion brainwashing.  Other examples of forcible indoctrination or propaganda is the assertion that Jews are intrinsically bad and responsible for all the world’s problems, and that Islam is a peaceable religion.  To assert the homosexuality is normal and natural is just as absurd. 

                Any sex act that is not between an adult man and woman and leads to procreation is unnatural.  Homosexuality is a sickness of the mind just like pedophilia and other sex offenses.  It’s all about gratification and not procreation.  Genes may indirectly contribute to homosexuality but are not the root cause.  To sanction homosexuality, to teach it in schools and churches, to surreptitiously legalize it by allowing two men or two women to marry is doing our children a terrible disservice – for it implies that it is alright to grow up and be “queer.” 

                I have been noticeably critical of the political correct propensity to normalize homosexuality in the past.  That is because as a sex crime investigator in law enforcement I was confronted with the disgusting sex habits of homosexuals.  They call themselves “gay,” but I have never met a truly happy “gay guy.”  Very often, besides a deviate sex orientation, they suffer from other psychological problems.  Yes, it appears there are seemingly normal homosexuals who function normally in society as politicians, lawyers, businessmen, actors, educators, artists, florists and singers, and at times make worthwhile contributions to culture, but that is not grounds for labeling homosexuality normal.   Diabetics make responsible citizens, narcissists are often super achievers.  That doesn’t mean diabetes and narcissism are normal. 

                Many homosexuals lead a dual life.  They marry women, have children and attend church but when the urge becomes irresistible they seek out clandestine homosexual liaisons often with strangers.  They meet in parks, public restrooms, libraries, the Internet.  When compelled by the urge they seldom have no shame and will proposition strangers, sometimes very aggressively.  It is not unusual for a man gripped with this addiction to have 30 to 40 sexual liaisons with other males in a single night.  And I will not go into detail what they do to each other because their lovemaking habits are to me, unsanitary and repugnant. 

                Many homosexuals take the position that every male is potentially “queer,” and that they merely need to be brought “out of the closet.”  Many are pedophiles, so much so that in my opinion every pubescent boy is a potential target.  They often seek occupations that will bring them close to children.  To allow a homosexual to teach grade school is inviting trouble. 

                I do not advocate discriminating against homosexuals unless they are involved in activities that bring them in contact with children.  Many are so deeply addicted that to change their orientation is impossible; consequently some psychologists attempt to treat them so they can accept their deviance safely and function without getting themselves into trouble. 

                I could go on and summarize the psychological ramifications behind the various deviant behaviors but I think I have made my point.  You can call me a bigot, prejudice or whatever, I don’t give a damn.   At my age you can’t hurt me for expressing my opinion. 

                There are much more valid reasons for objecting to same sex marriages than there are for supporting same sex marriages.  But the liberal, homosexual sympathizers have gained the momentum and are pushing to change the political mindset, not by facts but by intimidation.  The Southwest pilot is a glaring example.  Political correctness is nothing more than a sneaky way liberals have of indoctrinating liberal ideas or impeding and censoring free speech. 

                One last comment, I mentioned the name of a good friend at the beginning of this comment.  That does not necessarily mean he agrees with what I have written. 

                The trend towards moral decadence in this country is alarming.  Society is giving way to the selfish, individual instincts of a minority.  Politicians, lawyers and liberal intellectuals are contributing to the decadence for the sake of a dollar, vote and polemics.  Legalizing marijuana, pornography, homosexuality, polygamy and automatically respecting all purported  religious beliefs does not make for a stable society.   In no way can you convince me that homosexuality is natural or that pornography is harmless.  I found too much pornography associated with rape, child molest , homosexuality and other sex offenses.    SO YOU LIBERALS HUMANISTS PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!
